FAQ
What does your firm actually do for clients?
We help individuals, families, and business owners make informed financial decisions through comprehensive financial planning and investment management. Our work can include retirement, investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning, business planning, and other areas of your financial life.
How do you build a financial plan or investment strategy for someone?
We follow a four-stage process: Discover, Plan, Implement, and Adapt. We begin by understanding your financial life, priorities, values, and goals. From there, we develop and implement a strategy designed around you, then continue to review and adapt it as your life and circumstances change.
What does it mean that you are an independent, family-owned firm?
Being an independent, family-owned firm allows us to keep our focus where it belongs: on our clients. We are not owned by a bank or large financial institution, allowing us to provide personal guidance and build long-term relationships around the needs of the people and families we serve.
How do you charge for your services?
Our fees vary based on the services provided and the complexity of each client relationship. We believe costs should be clearly understood, so we explain the fees that apply to your situation before you decide to work with us.
What can I expect during our first meeting or consultation?
Our first meeting is a conversation. We want to understand your story, financial situation, priorities, and the questions that brought you to us. It also gives you an opportunity to learn about our firm, how we work, and whether Trovato is the right fit for you.
How do you work with clients over time as their needs change?
Financial planning is an ongoing process. As your family, career, business, goals, or financial circumstances change, we revisit your plan and make adjustments where needed. We also regularly review investment strategies and planning opportunities to help keep your financial plan aligned with your life.
Who do you typically work with?
We work with individuals, families, business owners, and organizations across a wide range of financial circumstances. Rather than focusing solely on account minimums, we look at the planning needs, goals, and complexity of each relationship to determine whether we are a good fit.
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. When acting as an investment advisor representative, we are a fiduciary and are committed to putting our clients' interests first when providing financial advice.
